The Park County School District is beginning the exciting process of developing a new Strategic Plan—a roadmap that will guide our district’s priorities and actions for the next five years. This plan will provide clear direction for our students, staff, families, and community as we work together toward shared goals for the future.
We invite you to lend your voice and perspective by joining our Strategic Planning Steering Committee. As a member of this committee, you will help identify the district’s key strengths, challenges, and opportunities. Your input will play a vital role in shaping the goals and strategies that support student success and strengthen our schools for years to come.
Together, we can create a vision that reflects the hopes and values of the entire Park County community.
The committee will meet five times between October 2026 and February 2027, providing a valuable opportunity for you to collaborate and give input in shaping this strategic plan. We hope you’ll consider joining us in this important work to help define the future of our district!

Interest forms are due by October 10, 2026. The district leadership team will review the list of community members who have indicated interest and select a representative group to join the committee. Committee members will be invited to join the committee by October 19, 2026
The planning process will be facilitated by the Colorado Education Initiative.
Committee members will not be expected to complete any work ahead of the initial meeting. We are excited to have you working with us through this planning process!
